The Beach area of Toronto is rich with creative talent
thriving in an environment endowed with natural beauty and
vibrant community life.  The Beach Studio Tour (BST) was
established in 1994 by textile artists Carolyn Barnett and
Susan MacDonald.  This May will be our 33nd tour in 17
years.

Local area artists open their homes and studios to the public
to showcase their work and the work of guest artists.  Many
people take this opportunity to chat with the artists about
their work and to buy original and unique pieces.

The BST offers for sale the work of a number of artists and
artisans in a variety of media, including paintings in oil,
acrylic, watercolour and pastel, as well as handwoven
fashion, handbags, textile art, ceramics, photography,
jewellery, and metalwork.

The BST runs twice per year - the weekend before Mother's
Day and the weekend after Thanksgiving.   Admission is free
and as an added attraction, each artist offers a door prize.
