The colour blue, the sea, the moon, hills, mountains, memories of Japan, Hawaii, Cuba, the water, the love of the abstract, of mood, memory, home, emotion and motion… these are just some of the things that inspire and find their way into Nathalie ’s paintings.  Nathalie has studied at Wilfrid Laurier University , the Honolulu Academy of Art, at Lesley College (Med. Creative Arts in Learning) and has studied/lived in Osaka , Japan . Also a storyteller/author, Nathalie lives, writes, paints, performs, teaches and is a creative coach in the Beach.

The Beach area of Toronto is rich with creative talent thriving in an environment endowed with natural beauty and alive with community life.

On May 4th (Friday 6pm-9pm), 5th (Saturday 10am-6pm) &, 6th (Sunday 11am-6pm), you are invited into the homes and studios of local area artists for the 19th Spring Beach Studio Tour.

The Tour offers the work of 23 artists in 12 locations for sale in a variety of media including paintings in oil, acrylic and watercolour as well as hand-woven fashion, wearable felt, ceramics, photography, sculpture, lamp glass, jewellery, handbags, home décor and metal art. Admission is free.

Take the opportunity to chat with the artists about their work and admire their creativity. Visiting and meeting these talented individuals will enrich the joy of owning their work for years to come.

Each studio will offer refreshments and a prize draw for a piece of work donated by each artist at the 12 locations.

Enjoy a spring walk, include lunch or dinner at a local restaurant or make it a fun weekend and plan to stay overnight at a local B&B. On the weekend of the tour look for the signs, and follow your way through a fine art tour in a terrific neighbourhood.
